Congress Needs To Start Living In The Real World

Those in Washington honestly believe that a tax hike to the rich wouldn't affect jobs. Whoever taught them about economics should be fired.

The naive believers in 'Washington economics' say Bush didn't create jobs when he kept tax cuts in place for ten years.

Excuse me?

Until it became apparent that Obama was going to be elected president, the unemployment rate was at 5%. Most everyone had a job. The economy was sluggish, but we weren't nearly bankrupt.

After Obama was elected, unemployment went up to 7%. No viable company wants to hire in an uncertain environment.

Then Obama (and Pelosi) pushed through a health care reform bill that no one wanted except Obama and 'his' congress--and unemployment skyrocketed to neary 10%.

And it's stayed there because every month there is another push for more spending, more taxes, another bid for amnesty, bailouts, and on and on.

Yet those in Congress can't admit they've made some terrible mistakes. And worse, they've done nothing to correct them. The only things they have done in Washington has been to help their financial backers and try to give money and a vote to those who bypassed our immigration laws and entered this country illegally.

Our government has become destructive to The People.

Washington apparently hasn't read the Declaration of Independence. They don't grasp the fact that we can 'abolish' and 'replace' a destructive government anytime we choose.

Listen to us, Washington. "No amnesty. No tax hikes. No bailouts. No Obamacare."
