Obama's Stalling On Keystone XL Is Keeping Gas Prices High And Jobs Down

Obama's delay in approving the Keystone XL pipeline is just another of his blatant attempts to hurt America. There is no reason for it. There are too many upsides. No oil spills. Energy efficiency. Lower gas prices. And the biggest plus of all, JOBS! Why is Obama stalling? To cause more damage to the economy? Because he can't make a decision by himself? Has he listened to The People? Or, is he waiting until it's time to vote, to give Democrats some kind fabricated of edge in the election? He can't possibly think American's are that ignorant. That's been his problem all along. He and his sheeple administration and Congress have foolishly underestimated The American People. We are intelligent, focused leaders, not his mindless minions.

As for the college shooter, well, according to the LA Times, Elliot Rodgers killed three people with a knife before he ‘got his gun‘. Of course the media downplays that part. Also, the kid's parents knew something was wrong with him, yet they did nothing about it until it was too late. Then they raced to the scene. So, who’s really to blame? Not the kids at the college. Not his parents. And Not his choice of weapons. Nothing and no one but Elliot Rodgers is to blame for all of this. Leave our Constitution alone. No one is going to disarm our nation so they can take control and turn America into a 3rd world, dictator-led country.

Entitled To Entitlements? What A Joke.

I paid cash for my social security insurance. Just because our out-of-control government borrowed and never repaid the money, it doesn't make my social security some kind of charity or handout. But that could describe Congressional benefits; free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days. Now those are handouts. And they have the nerve to call my retirement entitlements.

WAKE UP AMERICA!

A local newspaper, ran two articles on the front page, side by side:

1- Calif 's 20 Billion Dollar Budget Deficit

2- The Calif Supreme Court ruling that ILLEGALS can attend college and get benefits.

Why don't they just deport them when they arrive to register?

3- Last year they ran an article on the yearly costs to California Taxpayers from Illegals using Hospital Emergency Rooms for their general health care.

At just one hospital alone the cost to tax payers totaled over 25 million a year

Someone please tell me what the HELL'S wrong with the people that run this country?

We're "broke" and can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, and Homeless, but we can give billions away to other countries.
In the last months we have provided weapons to Iran, aid to Iran, Afghanistan, Kenya, and on and on. Obama literally gave away BILLIONS of DOLLARS in cash and weapons! Yet no one tries to stop him. Why?

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' (usually $800-$1,200 a month) receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Billions of dollars and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries! And the amount of taxpayer dollars they give to foreign student’s to educate the little darlings is staggering. Again, why? Why educate foreign students instead of our own?

They call Social Security and Medicare entitlements even though most of us have been paying for them all our working lives and now when it's time for us to collect, the government has spent our money. Why did the government borrow it in the first place? Were they overspending even in the beginning?

We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans. Why?

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment, YET they have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

Congress Screwed Up

Alan Simpson, Senator from Wyoming,Co-Chair of Obama's deficit commission, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared "Social Security to a milk cow with 310 million teats". August, 2010.

Here's a response in a letter from an unknown fellow in Montana... I think he is a little ticked off! He also tells it like it is !

"Hey Alan, let's get a few things straight..."

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.

4 Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission is proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from
Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans,have been paying income taxes our
entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why?
Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and health care benefits are you proposing
in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you
exempted yourself and your political cronies?

"greedy". It is you and they who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That's right, sir.

Unusual Post

I don't usually post anything personal, but today I just need a friend.

Last July, the doctors diagnosed my husband of 48 years with lung cancer. He's nearing his last days, and I'm having trouble dealing with the inevitable.

It feels like the sun is dying with him, and I don't know what to do. Seeing him breaks my heart, but the thought of not seeing him tears out my soul.

My children are hurting as much as I am, and it's killing me to see them try to hide their suffering to ease my pain. They must forget that I know them better than anyone.

I keep asking myself: Is this a test of faith? Why would the Lord want to do that to me? I'm not perfect, but I've always been faithful.

Then I think, maybe He just wants to take my husband home because He misses him, misses the laughter, the ever-present smile, the michieviousness in those beautiful blue eyes, the happiness he brings, the way he touches the deepest part those around him.

I don't know the Lord's reasons, but I do know I desperately need Him to help me through this.

Dream Act? Or Yet Another Washington Nightmare?

Harry Reid is trying to convince Congress and The People that his 'Dream Act' bill will be good for everyone.

In what world?

He claims that these poor youngsters were brought here as small children by their illegal parents (through no fault of their own), and this is the only life they've ever known.

So what Reid is actually saying is We The People have been paying for these illegal aliens for decades, and now he wants them to have more.

What is it about illegal that Harry Reid doesn't understand?

And why now? Why is this issue suddenly so urgent? Reid knows we're in the middle of a recession and trying to cut spending. So why would he propose another $6B annual spending bill on America right now?

What's wrong with requiring these youngsters to become legal immigrants like all before them--instead of offering yet another free hand-out?

I think something smells in Washington--and it's coming from Harry Reid's office.
